I help organisations become healthier and better at delivering value. Not only software organisations. I work with leaders, with individual contributors, and with teams that have a mix of both.

A lot of it comes down to psychological safety. When people aren’t scared of what happens if they fail, they dare to follow unexplored paths. That’s when innovation starts to happen. I help people build that kind of environment.

Over my thirty years in the industry I have written code as a developer, run networks and production systems as a network engineer and SRE, lectured and coordinated courses at KTH, managed engineers, coaches and managers, and worked as an agile coach. Not in that order, and some of them more than once, including a return to development after a burnout. Every switch let me see a role I knew well from a new angle. As a developer I watched agile coaches do the job I used to do, and as a manager of managers I saw engineering managers the way my own managers once saw me.

I have helped guide organisations through their transformations, both towards DevOps and the Product Model as described by Marty Cagan.

What I enjoy most is helping people learn and grow, which is why I started my own company, Fimblo Consulting AB. I live and work in Sweden, and I have clients in the EU, the UK and the US.
